You'll practice and learn what you need to know be crew or lead hand, sailing a keelboat of less than 30 feet in fair to moderate weather offshore. |

You will have met the course objectives when you qualify for the practical elements of the FVQ (Fédération de Voile du Québec) certificate for "Basic Cruising". |

This sailing course lasts 5 days (30 hours) Monday-Friday or you can schedule 2 consecutive weekends. It is recognized by the FVQ. |

To be sure you get the most from the course, we recommend the CYA's primer "Cruising Basics". We can order it for you in advance at a cost of $35. |
