We all learn our way. The courses are designed to suit your level of expertise and your rhythm of learning. The courses combine theory with quick practical application. Because each sailboat leaves with only four students, you will be guaranteed time to apply what you learn and to practice, and to make mistakes! The sailboats are designed so the instructor has control instantly, yet the students plot the course and manage the sail.

“The sailing school is approved by the Fédération de Voile de Québec; you are guaranteed that their stringent standards are met and exceeded. All our instructors are certified sailing instructors for your level, by the Fédération (FVQ & CYA).
As a sailor and sailing enthusiast for over 20 years, I have raced and crewed short and long distance races on the Saint Lawrence River, Lake Ontario, Fort Lauderdale-Key West, St-Martin. Our team had the distinction of placing 2nd in the Québec – Les Îles de la Madeleine race, 1st in the Grand Triangle (TQM) race, and 1st in the week-long Rendezvous Charlevoix race, among others. I have had the pleasure of training and improving my crews’ sailing skills over as many years.
I have taught for the “Canadian Power Squadron” for 4 years.
